Cheerleading

Cheer.

Cheer can be used for cheering on the sidelines for basketball, or football, and soccer.

Cheer can be competitive.

It’s usually either cheerleading for other sports OR competitive…

But Wolverines cheerleading is both.

This year was different because we combined A and B cheer because there were 10 girls on B and no B coach, A team only had 15 girls, and there was no A team for football.

But anyway the first week we practice chants for the Sunday or Saturday football games.

Then after that we work at our routine for competition.

It takes a week to learn the dance.

About a week to two weeks to learn a stunt sequence and we have two…

And about two and a half weeks to learn pyramid.

Then we practice the rest of the time we have before our first

competition we have three this year usually it’s 2 but I like the competitions so I’m glad we have 3

But right before we have competition we have team bond… its one of the best parts about cheer

We all hang out and talk and play games

Cheer is really fun.
