Books are stacks of paper that can be used to entertain, or inform. My favorite kind of book is the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Textured cover to add the “diary” feel, good plot, pictures for added understanding, the perfect book for children that are bored or are picky readers. There are plenty of other books, find the ones that suit your style or that fit the thing you are trying to learn. Overall, pretty great idea to go to your local library to have fun and/or learn. 7/10.

I am a musician

I love music.

Creating it, listening to it 

Even dancing to it.

Spending hours learning a song on my piano

Even though I don’t play.

Singing along to almost every song that

comes on the radio.

Listening to songs on repeat to learn the lyrics so that I can sing along better next time.

Humming melodies that I can’t get out of my head in math class.

Getting yelled at by the teacher to stop because my humming is distracting for the students who weren’t paying attention in the first place.

But I don’t care.

Because after the embarrassment of being lectured in front of my math class, listening to music calms me down and makes me forget about all the bad in this world.

  One camp they say…now I’ll never see them again! 

3 months before

“Emma, are your bags packed yet?” Whispers the slowing fading voice of my Mother. 

“Do I have to go? I mean it’s just a camp and I won’t make any friends!” I remark. “Yes, your Father and I believe that going will help you take your mind off things here at home, and maybe-” My mother trails off. I finish packing the: 3 sets of clothing, 5 pairs of socks, a raincoat and umbrella, and my sleeping bag. This is going to be a long 3 weeks!

Beep beep! Sooner than a flick of a horse’s tail we’re there, mess hall and everything, and for some reason, it looked kinda fun. “When do we start games, scary stories, and pillow fights!” My mother gives a sigh of relief when she sees my face filled with delight. “Let’s check you in to your cabin then you can go have some fun.” 

“Hello!, are you you Lisa? And you must be Mandy! I’m camp counselor Abby but you can call me Miss Abby, Abigail, or even just Abby I don’t mind” she seems nice I thought to myself maybe I can just stick with her the whole time. “Oh I almost forgot your in cabin 8 or cabin Judas with Sarah, Emma, Jasmine, and Winnie!” the counselor then went on the explain the rules, procedures, and oh yes she had to say those words, her mouth dripped with delight “NO CANDY” what, how, why? My life is ending right here right now, no candy, every muscle in my body decided to get up and run, right out of me, right through the woods, right out of camp. 

“Honey,are you ok, do you need some water?” My Mom, the camp nurse, and the counselor were in a minute circle around me. The nurse slowly helped me to my feet and sat me on the edge of our car. “You sure you don’t want any water?” I felt like crying I was so embarrassed it’s just candy I don’t even care about it THAT much I managed a “no i’m alright and started to unload my bags from the trunk “can I go straight to the cabins?” 

“Yes follow this map” the counselor started to follow me so my mom yelled a little bye honey love you and left camp had finally begun.

Two hours and I hear a loud Bang, screams, crying, and smoke, lots and lots of smoke. I run, I scream, and then I see fire everywhere and people standing (the ones who survived) I begin to scan the crowd and My Dad comes running to me “Mandy, Mandy!!” out of breath he is crying too much for me to hear what he is saying “your mom your mom she’s …dead!” what this can’t be happening and then…

The saddest thing about betrayal is it doesn’t come from your enemies. Instead, it comes from the ones closest to you. My best friend betrayed me when he started hanging out with somebody I don’t like. So, I eventually stopped hanging out with him. I would rather my enemy betray me then my friend but that’s just how it happened. After this, my friend started doing stuff to me like getting me in trouble, which is pretty hard to deal with. Betrayal hurts more than anything, but you will eventually get through it and forgive people too. When going through this don’t try to embarrass the other person because it will only make it worse and you could get in big trouble. Another thing to keep in mind is that people always leave so don’t get too attached.  Don’t expect someone to be there with you all the time except for family.

In a 2012 Gallup poll, 77% of the adults in America claimed to be Christian. The current mainstream worldview pushes a wide path to eternal life in heaven. This broad view claims that people say that they are good people, but no one is good because God’s meaning of good is that we have to be morally perfect but no one is close to meeting God’s standard.

Despite the fact that the world thinks we are good people we are actually enemies of god prior to being saved. We are all wicked and wretched sinners and we deserve to suffer eternal punishment. We can’t earn salvation on our own. The bible states in John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

The good news is that Jesus died on the cross because he loved us more than anything and he wanted to save us. Jesus paid the debt for our sins so we didn’t have to suffer eternal life. The bible states in John 3:16,” For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

The bible also says in 1 Peter 3:15,” But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.” God wants the people that are believers to tell people around them that aren’t believers about him. You need to know the gospel if you are a Christian and be willing to share it.

This is the biblical gospel and not the world version of the gospel. You should always want to put God before anything else. You need to read the bible to know more about God and pray everyday.

Introduction

I was driving back from work at 9:36 because I had to work overtime that evening. It was a clear, starry and barely a breeze. Coming into my neighborhood there were police cars and firemen. I quickly got out of the car and walked under the police tape.

“Sir stay behind the yellow line!”. Yelled the officer.

“What’s going o…”. I paused, and my heart stopped at the sight of my house which was nothing but ash and smoke.   

Fortnite is a good game that is free to play. In the game you can get vbucks that can buy you items even though they don’t do anything special for you. Fortnite is a great game that a lot of people play. In Fortnite there are multiplayer modes where you play with real people. There is also Creative where you can build things or just hang out with your friends. Multiplayer is good for leveling up and trying to do challenges or for getting wins. Creative is more for having fun with friends and practicing. The only things I don’t like about Fortnite is big robots that can eliminate people very easily with all of the features. Also I don’t like that you only have three refunds because if you accidentally buy something from the item shop you can’t refund it if you already used your refunds. Fortnite doesn’t have many bad things in it. They update it a lot so it is mostly always up to date. The game altogether is at least 70,000 gigabytes, which is a lot of storage room. Fortnite is a fun game that offers a lot of different things that you can do.

Saying goodbye to summer is the hardest part of the year.

The leaves aren’t as green, and the sky isn’t as blue,

Why does summer fade so fast?

No more hanging out with friends all day, or having sleepovers,

No more pool days, just relaxing,

But now it’s shopping and stressing!

Why can’t summer stay forever?

It goes away in just a snap, 

Summer can’t stay, I know this,

But why does it come and go so fast?

It feels like just yesterday I was tanning out by the pool,

 but now I’m bundling up for winter!

Goodbye summer, I’ll see you in 4 months, I hope it comes soon.

Here are the kids who went to the future.

“Billy did you mess my game up?!!!” 

“Maybe, maybe not,” Billy chuckled.

“Fine, I will just watch t.v. then.”

Shut up, Billy!”Eric screamed.

“Mom, billy will not be quiet.”Said Eric. 

“Billy don’t annoy your brother.”Mom Said from the upstairs.  

“Oh my gosh look at the time we have to get to our flight!” 

“Mom, mom” 

“what is it sweetie” “Can I get the new future toy now?”Asked Billy. 

“No the future can wait.” 

“But why.”Billy whined.“Let’s go.” Froom!!! 

“Hey Billy, where is Mom?”

“I don’t know.” 

“Finally we are landing.” 

“Hey, young man is this yours?” Asked an old lady. 

“Umm, Yes.” Eric looks at the map. “look Billy I just lied and got a map.” “Cool.” “let’s go then.” 

Here it is.” 

“How old is this house it’s all cracked and broken and the door has blood on it.” 

“I don’t know.” 

“Should we go in?” 

“I guess so.” 

“Oh my gosh, there’s a person in here!”

“Who said that,” Said a deep voice. “

Uh, We did.” 

“You didn’t see me make something, did you.” 

“No.”

 “Um, sir your bleeding.” 

“oh-it’s nothing.”

“What’s that?” 

“Well it’s a potion,” said the man. 

“What kind of potion?” asked Billy 

“A healing potion.” 

“Really?” “That’s so cool,” said Eric.

“Wow!” “your cut is gone!” said Billy. 

“Cool right.” 

“Yeah!” exclaimed both of them. 

“Come here. Did you know I’m a future warrior?” 

“No.” 

“Look in my basement.” 

“What is this machine for?” asked Eric. 

“A portal maker.” the warrior said,

 “Can we go in?” said Eric. 

“Only for thirty seconds.” 

“Why?” asked Billy. 

“It’s not safe.” 

“Ok,” responded Billy. 

“Jump!” 

  “Wow, where are we?” 

“In the future. All right it’s time to go. You guys ready to jump on 1 2 3?”

“I have a lot of questions.” 

“Well, what are they?

”First, why was there a black dragon trying to Burn us with fire?” 

“That’s why I’m a Future warrior. So I can protect people”

 “Can  we go back again?”  Billy said. 

“No.” 

“Only for one second?” 

“All right all right.” said the warrior.

  “Ouch! The dragon is hurting and beating me.”The warrior whispered.  

“Hurry, use a health potion.” 

“I forgot about it!” 

“Take this poison arrow and shoot the Dragon with it.” “ Why can’t you.” 

“Um  Eric, he’s not responding.” 

“I think he’s dead Billy.”  

“let’s first shoot the Dragon.”  

fling!  Squirt! 

“Ew, what is that green stuff.”

As Eric was explaining to Billy what the green stuff was, somebody or something was hunting them down.

“I found the portal maker over here.”Said Eric. 

“It ran out of gas!”Exclaimed Billy. 

“Let’s go ask Mom!”Eric screamed. 

After that Billy said, “She is dead. We’re in the future.”

“Right we’re probably aren’t alive either,” Eric mumbled.

“I feel like we’re getting watched every movement,” Billy said to Eric. 

“It’s nothing.”Said Eric.

“The young one is right.” 

“Who said that.”Said Billy.

”I did.” Said a king.

“This Earth is getting destroyed.” “But I and Billy killed the dragon.” “That was only the first one.”He said. “How many monsters are there?” “No one knows.”The king said. “Let’s go find out.”Said Eric.       

“You can’t just count them you know.”Said the king. 

“I’m sorry this is my first time in the future!”Screamed Eric. 

“You don’t mess with the Illuminati !”Said the king as he rises up and turns into the Illuminati. 

Eric and Billy both screamed.

“It’s time for you to die!”Said the Illuminati. 

“Even though I was getting used to you.”The Illuminati said quietly. 

“I think we need to fight.”Said the Illuminati. 

“Here is the iPhone 98. 

“Were web battling?”Said Eric confused. 

“No, we’re eating pizza, yes we’re web battling!”Said the Illuminati extremely Loud. 

“Unless you settle it the old fashion way.” 

“Ok.”Said Billy. 

“No, What are you getting into Billy!”Eric screamed.

“I saw this on a movie, Do you have a credit card?”Said Billy.

“Here is mom’s.”Answered Eric. 

Fwoosh! Billy threw the credit card at the Illuminati. The Illuminati broke into a million pieces and light of gloomy darkness, and a portal! “Billy look a portal that says back in time!” “let’s go.”

 “Wow, Where are we?” 

“In the past.”Answered Eric. 

“Can we come with you.”Said a soft voice. 

“Who said that.”Said Billy. 

“We did.” 

As 17 kids come out from the corner. 

“There are hunters trying to shoot us.”Said the kids. 

“Do you know where a portal would be?” 

“No.” Said the two twins. 

“Then we hear stomping and see people on horses with rifles and shotguns. They hear a fire and one of the kids is on the ground. 

“Look Billy he’s dead!” “16 kids left,” said Eric. 

But Eric was wrong as he was talking to billy 2 more kids got shot, 14 kids now. 

“Look one of them is coming to us.” 

“You need a portal there is on in the wizard’s hut.” 

“Where is it?” said Eric in a stern voice. 

“It’s 47 miles on the dusty road.” 

“Can you ride us there?”Said Billy. 

“On a horse.” 

“Ok.” 

Clop! Clop! Clop! As they were riding they were only 23 miles away. 

“I’m going to sleep,” Billy whispered. 

Eric are you awake?!”

“I am now.” 

“Well, what is it?” 

“We’re here.” 

“Cool.” “

I’m still going to sleep.” Said Eric tiredly. 

“Here you go.” 

“A portal?” 

“Yes.” “Mom!” “kids!” 

And they lived happily ever after!

See book 2 Blood Hunters 

It was a tournament day and we were about to play our second game against Penn Manor. We were about 15-20 minutes into the game and we were winning 3-1. I was goalie for our team and one of their offenders was dribbling towards the goal I was defending. I went out of goal a little bit and her touch was a little hard so it went farther in front of her. I ran and dove to get the ball,but she tripped over me and… SNAP! She landed on her arm wrong and the bone snapped in half. The game ended up being delayed for almost 30 minutes because an ambulance had to come and get her and take her to the hospital. I felt so bad because technically I was the one who caused her to fall and break her arm. We ended up winning the game 4-2 but it was a sad game because the girl who broke her arm was out the rest of the season ad couldn’t play until spring season.
