After the fight with Captain Potato Jamal went to the scientists and try to make them stop testing on non-living food.

“You need to stop testing on non-living food.” Said Jamal

“But that is our only way of making money.” The scientists said in unison.

Jamal says” I don’t care, you almost had the universe taken over by a POTATO.”

“ Alright fine we’ll work on alternate dimensions.” said the lead scientist.

Seven years go by and the scientists finally found out how to open a portal to an alternate dimension. As soon as the scientists were about to go into the portal Jamal’s doppelganger came out of the portal. (We’ll call him Julius)

“Where am I?” asked Julius.

“Wait if we are on earth one than you must be from earth two because we could only open it to the closest earth.” Said the scientists. 

Jamal asks “So does that mean I have a doppelganger.”

The scientist says “Yeah it actually does.”

“Well, where is he?” Julius asks. 

“First of all, why do you need to know that?” said the scientist. 

“Because he is the only person who is able to stop me from taking over this world.”

Now the scientists were frightened but they still wanted to destroy Jamal so what did they do… They told Julius where Jamal was and even said they would help him in exchange for being his personal scientists. Julius knew that he wouldn’t need them after he defeated Jamal so he said yes. But in reality, as soon as they defeated Jamal he was going to make them his slaves.

There are many things that make America great. The people are one of those things. They are all unique in their own way. The citizens are mostly respectful to one and other and follow basic rules and manners. They will hold doors for you, help you when you are hurting, and be polite. Something else that is awesome about our country is that everyone has freedom, having a say in government. People can practice whatever religions they want. Citizens in America are amazing because they work hard most of the time and are efficient. 

Another thing that makes America great is its landscape. America has many amazing places to visit. There are 61 National Parks that you can visit in the USA. They all have phenomenal views and incredible wildlife. More people need to see those spectacular places. Citizens in America are amazing because they work hard most of the time and are efficient. 

There are many different climates and cultures in America. If you like the cold, you can go up to Alaska. If you like warmer temperatures, you can head out west to Texas or Utah. The cultures are different as you travel, too. If you go to the south-western part of the US, you can have Mexican for and experience their culture. If you go to Lancaster, Pennsylvania you can see the Amish people and all of their farms. You can also taste some of their food. 

There are so many places in America that do not get advertised and that nobody goes to. They are cute little towns that are peaceful and quiet. More people need to visit these places. An example of one of these places is Gettysburg. It is very historical but most people don’t go there over other places. People do construction just to make things look better when you can just go into the woods or near a creek or river. It is quicker, easier, and nicer to find natural beauty than trying to make something that is man-made and pretty. 

The last thing that makes America great is its government and protectors. Some people think we will never be able to survive with some leaders, but we always get through it as a country. Some amazing leaders that have helped our country develop are Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. The leaders in our country recently are pretty good too, such as Donald Trump. The people that protect our country is also an amazing characteristic that we have. They keep us safe and do it all while risking their lives for us. America is the best and only country I would ever want to live in. 

One day there was a boy named Jamal who lived in New York City. He lived with his Mom in an apartment building. Jamal and his mother were very poor their apartment building was a wreck and they barely could pay for rent. Jamal was 17 years old and he loved to play basketball. Anytime he wasn’t helping his Mom all he did was play the game he loved.

 Jamal was very good at basketball but he had bad grades in school so he couldn’t play basketball if he didn’t have good grades. Then one day his school had a guest speaker, the speaker told the students about his life story. His life story was about how he loved to play football but he couldn’t play because of his grades but when he actually put effort into school the last year of college he was drafted into the NFL. Then Jamal started to try harder in school so he could play basketball. That next day Jamal was in math class that was his worst subject. They had a test last class and were getting back today.  Jamal knew that he was going to get a bad grade because he always does. When he got his text back he was stunned he got 97.3%. After math class Jamal started to talk to himself if I did a good job on this test I can study for others and get good grades.

So after Jamal started to try again he finally could play basketball. Jamal was a center on his school basketball team. Jamal was 6/10 and weighed 235. Jamal was an inside-outside scorer he was also getting d1 college looks. At the end of the school season, a Gentleman wearing a black suit came up to Jamal and said “Hi, I’m the scout for The Kansas Jayhawks and I was wondering if you would like to be a part of our basketball team.  We will give you a free ride as well Jamal answered Heck Yeah! End Of Part ONE! 

At the beginning of Jamal’s college career he played for the Kansas Jayhawks. He was the youngest player on his team. There was one teammate of Jamal that actually liked the rest of the team really didn’t care about Jamal. Jamal’s friend is Freddy. Freddy grew up in this little city in pennsylvania called Coatesville. Freddy grew up in a pretty wealthy family which is the opposite of Jamal. Freddy’s game is that he’s good at outside shooting and he can get other people open and give them a good assist. Freddy is a short white kid like around 6’1 and weighs about 185. Jamal and Freddy each start as freshman and are the two youngest people on the team. The Jayhawks are the 8 seed in the NCAA and they made it into the semifinals and are playing duke to get into the championship to play against Michigan State. The Jayhawks are down by 2 with 7.6 seconds left Freddy passes the ball in to Jamal and Jamla is dribbling down the court. Then one of Jamal’s teammates Pablo screams at Jamla “ hey give me the ball ill have a better chance of making it then you”. Then Jamal said “ No I got this” and drove down the court. There are now 3 seconds left he pulls up for three. It hits the front of the rim and goes in! The crowd goes wild and even Pablo said good shot I probably would’ve missed.

Thoughts. Thoughts are a confusing thing. They can change your perspective on so many things. They can make you think something is happy or scary or sad, even though they might not be in reality. They could honestly change your life. If you think that life is horrible and sad, then you won’t be able to enjoy life. If you think it is amazing and happy, you will be able to enjoy more of life. They could make you overthink. If you think that anytime your stomach hurts you are going to throw up, you are overthinking. If you think that you are going to fail your test even though you studied and you think your parents are going to yell at you, you are overthinking. And those? Those are just some of the things thoughts make you do.

Wiffle ball is basically just like baseball but instead of using a baseball and baseball bat you use a wiffle ball and a wiffle ball bat. A wiffle ball is a plastic ball that has 6 holes at the top to make it curve the bat is plastic and thin so you can hit it harder. 

Now the rules, the rules are simple, there’s 3 people on each team and home plate to 1st base is 20 feet and 1st base to 2nd base is 20 feet and same thing from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to home. From home plate to dead center field fence is 55 feet. You cannot steal bases in wiffle ball because there is no catcher. Behind home plate there is a strike zone made out of a slab of metal for the middle and PVC pipe on the outside for the outside and inside corners of the plate. The pitchers mound is 18 feet away from home plate. A pitcher’s mound is like a hill that the pitcher pitches the ball from to make the ball have more speed and if you want the wiffle ball to curve really well you “scuff” it on a sidewalk. There are 3 outs for both sides and you play 3 innings, an inning is like different stages in the game the 1st inning is the beginning. When you start out an inning the away team bats first which would be the top of the 1st and when the home team bats that’s the bottom of the first after that innings over you move to the 2nd and the 3rd. there is a run limit per inning it’s 5 runs.

 In the field there’s 3 positions pitcher, infielder, and outfielder, the ways to get the other team is to either catch the ball, tag 1st, tag 2nd if there’s a runner on 1st, and tag 3rd if there’s a runner on 2nd you can also peg the person. A peg is where you chuck the wiffle ball at the runner to get them out.

Drama is something no one likes to get involved in, and I mean no one.

I was laying in my bed not feeling well, and messing around on a social app called “Snapchat”. I look at my friend’s story and find something that broke me..and something that was wrong. I found out my “best friend” was lying to me about something serious, and it wasn’t a joke…

That was the day that I regret what I saw and what I heard. When I walked into the school doors I felt scared and upset at the same time, I didn’t know what to think…I was scared to tell her so I didn’t until Wednesday…

 “This is the day I confront her”, I said to myself. At lunch, I told her I needed to have a talk with her about everything and all I wanted was the truth, but I didn’t get the truth. The only thing I got from confronting her was all lies. I couldn’t believe that she would do that. I was ashamed and angry. She said that they never were together… and then she told me she broke up with him because he’s suicidal. Just hearing her talk and saying stuff that wasn’t true, I waited until she was done and I told her that I needed a break. She asked “How long…?” I replied, “Months… It hurts a lot to know my own friend did that”. She was shocked I said that and so I felt bad… “We can still be friends,” I said. She was happy… but I wasn’t, I was upset and hurt, it was like I was stabbed in the back.

My friend gave me a note from the person saying “I don’t know what I did to you” while reading that I felt angry that she would think nothing happened and my reply wasn’t very… necessary. I don’t regret what I wrote back though.. It felt good to speak up, the only issue was.. she knew what she did, she just didn’t want to admit it.

After all that happened I realized, I didn’t want to be her friend anymore, which felt good . Until something happened.. she told everyone I called her a terrible word. I was so angry and I don’t know why she would tell anyone that and just lie. The only thing I realized from our “friendship” is that all she did was lie to everyone.

Jarad Higgins became an artist in his first year of high school. His first track was “Forever”. He posted songs off his phone. In 2015 his SoundCloud account was Juicethekid. The first track he posted with producer Nick Mira was “Too Much Cash”. While Higgins made the music, he worked in a factory and got fired after being dissatisfied with the job. He got popular after his song “Lucid Dreams” in 2018. In 2018 50% of the population heard the song “Lucid Dreams” at least once. The song was top 100 on the Billboard chart and the biggest streaming song of 2018.

 In December 2018  he released a three-song EP “Nothings Different”. It was on multiple hip hop blogs like Lyrical Lemonade which gained him popularity and helped his song “All Girls Are the Same” get popular. 

2018 was a big year for Higgins. In February 2018 a music video directed by Cole Bennet was released, and Juice signed to Interscope records for 3,000,000 dollars. On June 19, 2018, he released a two-song EP dedicated in remembrance of Lil Peep and XXXTentacion. This song “Legends” charted 65 in its debut. July 10, 2018, the song “Wasted” was released featuring Lil Uzi Vert. The next day Higgins announced that he would release his new album. After a following of leaks, Higgins’ producer released the “Motions” on SoundCloud.  July 20, 2018, he announced his first tour with YBN Cordae and Lil Mosey. Travis Scott, another famous singer, featured Higgins and their song got 31 on hottest 100 billboard chart. On October 15, 2018, the music video for “Armed and Dangerous” was released, and a collaboration album “Fine China” with Future was released.  The album “Wrld on Drugs” is his second mixtape, and a collaborative project with Future was released on October 19, 2018. December 2018 Ski Mask the Slump God said he and Juice would release a joint mixtape called “Evil Twins”. 

2019 was the final year of music for Higgins. Ski Mask and Juice said they would also announce a 2019 tour with 30 concerts in North America, and he announced that his second studio album would release on March 8, 2019. He also then went on the Nicki Wrld Tour with Nicki Minaj. April 9, 2019, the music video for “Fast” was released. Later that year he released singles like “All Night” with RM and “SUGA” from BTS, “Hate Me” with Ellie Goulding, “Run”, “graduation” with Benny Blanco, and “Bandit” with NBA YoungBoy.

Chincoteague is a small island in Virginia where many families go throughout the summer for vacation. This island includes the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge located at the southern end of Assateague Island and is home to the famous Chincoteague wild ponies. There are plenty of fun things to do on the island.  Assateague Island has many nature related activities including spending the day at the beach or going on a 3.5 mile nature walk/bike ride. There are also educational indoor places to explore including the lighthouse, an educational and administrative center or the Toms Cove Visitor Center. On Chincoteague there are numerous entertaining places to play including a water-theme park, mini golf places and Funland. You will also never be hungry with options of eating at The Island creamery, Famous Pizza, Smokey’s BBQ, Steamers Restaurant, Main Street Shop Coffee House or  Amarin coffee, just to name a few. Funland has activities such as: Go karts, bungee trampoline, rock wall climbing, mini golf and water bumper cars. Smokey’s has many options on food and have games like, corn hole, tetherball, hoola-hoops, ring toss, a bounce house and a ladder toss game. You will never be bored on this Island during your family vacation. 

Chapter 4

“Jack! Jack!” whispered John 

“Wake up,” said John  

“What… what happened?” questioned Jack

John said, “We got captured by some people I…” John stopped his sentence 

“Hello there,”  said the Russian man

Jack yelled,” who are you and what did you do to the other people!”

The Russian man said,” Well I am Andrey and the others are ok don’t worry” then he laughed evilly.

Then Andrey commanded his soldiers to bring Jack into a conference room. Jack refused to go so the soldiers had to knock him out. Water came into Jack’s face.

*Gasp*  “Jack where is the camp located?” questioned Andrey 

“I won’t tell you!” yelled Jack

“Fine then,” said Andrey

“Bring him in” commanded Andrey then Lion came in with chains on him. Andrey brought a gun out and pointed it on his head.

“Tell me or I will shoot him,” said Andrey

“Don’t tell him!” yelled Lion then a gunshot happened. Andrey had shot Lion in the leg.

“Ahhhh” yelled Lion

“No Ok! I’ll tell you” screamed Jack

“Ok tell me,” said Andrey

“It’s located in New York in an underground vault room,” said Jack

“Ok put this guy back to his cell and keep Jack in here” commanded Andrey

“Wake up my friend it’s eating time,” said Andrey Jack woke up the food was full of bugs and is covered by some grey disgusting things. Then Jack spat into Andrey’s face.

“you!” yelled Andrey while throwing the food onto the floor. Andrey brought out a knife and stabbed Jack.

“I’ll see you later,” said Andrey Jack was bleeding out on the hard bed he was gasping a lot. Then he fainted.

“Hey wake up” whispered Lion Lion was put in the same cell with Jack

“What?” questioned Jack while he was Gasping

“We need to get out of here I’ve been digging a little hole,” said Lion

“I can’t I’m dying you go,” said Jack

“I’ll hold you on my back,” said lion

“What about your leg,” said Jack

“I’m ok,” said lion

“Just go with me,” demanded Lion 

“Fine,” said Jack when they got out of the hole they got caught, but they still ran Jack was shooting. The Russian soldiers and Lion was running as fast as he could while carrying Jack on his back.

Jack yelled,” leave me here you go”

“What? Are you crazy!” yelled Lion

“Just do it!” yelled Jack

“Fine!” said Lion when he put down Jack got out a grenade

“Goodbye my friend” cried Jack then Jack pulled the pin *BOOM* all of the Russian soldiers died Jack had saved Lion. when Lion got to the cells where the rest were Lion opened the cell 

John asked,” where is Jack?”

Lion said quietly,” he’s… he’s dead”

“What? How” question John

“Uh guys we got to go now,” said Finka

“There they are shoot at them!” commanded the Russian commander Mak they all ran while shots were flying past them when they got to a big door they were cornered.

“Hah get them,” said the Russian commander Mak when the soldiers got near them Jack punched the one soldier and got his weapon and shot the rest of the soldiers the Russian commander Mak got hurt too 

“Don’t hurt me…” cried Mak

“I’ll give you my keycard and you can leave but please just don’t hurt me” pleased Mak

“Ok give me the keycard,” said John

“Here,” said Mak gave the keycard to John then opened the big door and they were outside they weren’t in New York they were somewhere in the forest while snowing.

“Where are we?” asked Danny

“Get them!” yelled Andrey

“Run!” yelled John they all ran then they got to a cliff.

“HA!” laughed Andrey

“You have nowhere to go now,” said Andrey

John said,” you will never get us JUMP!” Then everyone jumped off the cliff.

“NO!” yelled Andrey walked back and said to the troops

“I want everyone to find them and kill them if you see any of them!” yelled Andrey 

“Yes sir,” said the commander the troops went down to the river they had found one of them it was Danny.

“Shoot him,” said the commander then John heard a gunshot.

John yelled” NO!” Finka and Lion came they both said they had to go, but John didn’t Finka and Lion pulled John away. When they got to a town it was abandoned. They went into a house. 

Lion said,” look a radio maybe I can use this to call the French army.” Lion, Finka, and John heard a knock they looked at the window it was some people. They shot the doorknob and knocked them all out.

There should be less homework because it interferes with life outside of school like hanging out with friends which socialization is important for teens especially.Also homework keeps kids from doing some sports because there’s a lot of it sometimes because some kids have sports,band,and any other after school activties.It would also help the environment because no homework means less paper so we would be saving trees which would help the earth.Homework sometimes keeps people up because kids are up all night will all that homework trying to figure out equations and stuff.Some scientists encourage no homework and just to eat,go outside,or go to bed early so it even has been somewhat proven that homework is pointless.So school boards should start talking about this argument because in some research kids could be doing something better then doing homework.
