Our Work Ethic

Our work ethic is slowly depleting. Meaning that we started the year with amazing work and slowly, but surely our work got to look like trash. We take more time to do our work than literally any other class period, probably all periods combined. We need to take Mrs. Risser seriously and get our work done on time. If people start having problems with getting work done on time you can ask Mrs. Risser to change the due date a day back. We asked why they think we talk so much and they said that its fun to talk and that we are social and teenagers. We usually get our work done after the due date and only a couple of people get it done on time or before. Just like the find 5 reliable sources, only like 8 people got it done on time. That shows that people procrastinate until they are forced to do it the week of presenting. There are still more than half of kids that don’t have it done. They are wasting there time and should come during DA to get it done or have lunch detention because it’s not once that they don’t do there work it’s every time they have a project to do, they don’t do their work. And it’s the same thing over and over again, ¨oh I’m working on it.¨ We think you need to have a more strict rule like once the due date it over its a zero or hand in whatever you have and that’s your grade not letting them work on it until they finish it. I think that citing 5 sources wasn’t hard, people could have gotten it done on time if they worked harder and not talked to people. Maybe even worked on it out of school like I did.
