Welcome back to the don’t starve world or game but its part three maybe the last one or might continue it. So today we will be talking more about hamlet the newer DLC that came out in late 2019.
In hamlet, they added a temple or should I say “Ancient Pig Ruins” In the ruins are mobs creatures yay my favorite. The mobs included in the Pig Ruins are Scorpions, Bats ( Just like the cave in the original game), and Vipers (snakes). You are twice as fast as the vipers so most likely you won’t get hit.
Inside the temples are pressure plates that summon things of some sort. There are suspicious cracks you can look into them more with the magnifying glass and it may conceal a door sometimes in there the only way you know if its a door if your character explains something about it. You can destroy the crack by using gunpowder or coconades and more. Inside would be an ancient pedal stool that can give you gems or random items like the shadow sword that only maxwell spawns with but wearing or using it causes your sanity to drop slowly but it’s powerful to use.
In hamlet, it has a lot of theories like that Wilson discovers a lost town of aristocratic pigs with shops and houses. Shops, You can trade, buy, and sell items that you need or don’t need using Oinc its a coin currency that you use to buy and trade. By getting Oinc you need to work around the town by either picking up manure and the closest pig will give you a coin to use in shops. There will be a cooldown from the pigs after getting paid.

In Hamlethamlet, they apparently updated charlie so that his attacks are slower but still sometimes fast it can take charlie 5-10 seconds to hit you. Charlie only does -100 health and -20 sanity each hit which is madness because it can take 2 hits for you to die. When you fully upgrade WX-78 he can have up to 500 health but it can take 5 hits to kill you so you could last a minute with that because it can take another 5-10 seconds to attack again.
Armor in the game can be good but when it gets to the point when your past wood armor you would expect to get marble because it’s stronger right? no, don’t make it because it slows you down by 30% of you speed. Sometimes in situations it can be bad cause your slow and slow enough can get you killed but it does protect you very well.
Actually now I think about it might be a little OP? Why because it absorbs 95% of physical damage WHAT that’s crazy and acts like you HAVE 2850 THAT’S INSANE when you are in a boss fight you might need to bring this along. If you’re going to bring it to a fight you must do the swap trick with kiting when you are fighting a boss and you go to attack it swap to a different armor set that makes you faster then after hitting hit swap back to the marble suit.
