D team:
D team is the first year of tackle football. On D team I played for Mountville and I started out as a center for a few games and then switched to running back. We started out 1-3 and ended the season 6-3. During the season we had a bunch of different coaches. When I was playing running back it was our 6th or 7th game that we are playing and it was home against Hempfield. They were winning 27-21 in the fourth quarter with 30 seconds left, and we were doing a run play with me right up the middle and we were at our 33-yard line. I broke 2 tackles at the line of scrimmage and then there was a huge gap and then I followed it and I kept on running and then I scored the touchdown to win the game. I was so excited that it was my first touchdown. I started crying tears of excitement.
C team:
On C team you have to play for 2 years and in the first year I was a tight end and I caught 20 passes out of 22. The 2 I missed are because the QuarterBack and both he threw an interception on both. In one game we faced Donegal at Donegal and the one player punched me in the throat and he got ejected from the rest of the game. Our team made it to the playoffs and lost in the first round. In my second year of C team, I was a kicker and an offensive lineman. Our team went 3-6 and we had so many players get hurt.
B team:
On B team you have to play for another two years and my first year I played for Mountville and my second year I played for Willow Street (LS). I played quarterback both years and on Mountville, I was the backup. In that season I got 10 touchdown passes and 5 rushing touchdowns and our JV went 7-1 and our Varsity team went 3-6. I was also the backup quarterback for Willow Street. In that whole season, I only threw 1 interception and 7 throwing touchdowns and 3 rushing touchdowns. Our JV went 9-1 and we lost that game because Manheim Township put in their varsity instead of their JV. Our varsity team went 8-2. The starting quarterback threw around 15 interceptions and the 3rd string quarterback threw 5 interceptions.
Junior High:
Instead of A-team because there wasn’t one I have to play on Junior High for 3 years. We went 4-3 and started out 1-3 and won the last three games. I didn’t lay at all so I don’t really have stats.
That is my football career so far.
