Jiffy: Part 2

Jiffy now loved skydiving and wanted to do it again. There was only one problem, climbing back up to the counter without Edward seeing him. He would sneak around the side of the counter when Edward was making more popcorn and he would climb up the electric cord with his napkin and then he would jump off when he got to the top. After many successful skydives, he decided to go for the big jump… off the cabinet. He was climbing up the cabinet with an old piece of used floss that he found in the trash can. He threw it up and it wrapped around the handle and he started to climb the cabinet. When he got to the top he took out his trusty old napkin and tied it around him. He took a few steps back and started to run forward, he jumped off the cabinet and a few seconds later the napkin opened and he heard a loud rip. He started to go faster and then he looked up and realized why he was speeding up… there was a hole the size of a nickel. He hit the ground hard with a pop. He didn’t feel the same though. He felt as if he grew. He looked into the waxed floor and realized that he was no longer a kernel. He was a tasty piece of popcorn now. There was one downside of being popcorn though. Everyone wanted to eat you. Edward now wanted to eat Jiffy more than ever. There was also a new threat, crows. As Jiffy was trying out his new body he found out that if he got stepped on he would not stay his shape he would get flat. JIffy found that out by looking on the floor and seeing all his friends that Edward dropped. He had to get out of there! Jiffy was not running but not walking. He was kinda bouncing like bounce, bounce, bounce all through the house looking for a place to get out. When he was bouncing around he saw a trail of a liquid. He didn’t know what it was so he followed it. ‘’Maybe it’s my way out’’ he said.
