Blood Hunters

A story told by Zach

It was a sunny day and everyone was outside except for three kids Thad, Logan, And Me Zach who were playing Minecraft inside at Logan’s house. Then someone in chat who was on our team made some groaning noises and we asked what was wrong.

He said run, we said we didn’t even join the server. He said in real life so we turned off the game and turned on the news to see what was happening but the news was not on. We didn’t know why because it was in the middle of summer. 

Then the S.W.A.T team came in and said get on the ground we asked why he said you might be infected. So we laid on the ground so they wouldn’t shoot us then they did some tests and we were clear. Then we asked why the number 9 officer was green then one of them yelled shoot him. Splat! he was laying on the ground with blue ooze dripping out of the bullet holes.

We asked what was going on he said there was a zombie apocalypse he took us their van he opened the back and there were armor and weapons. Thad got bulletproof armor and a machine gun Zach got some bulletproof armor too and got a sniper and Logan only had a cop uniform and a bb gun.

Then Thad and Zach got fire cocktails and Matt got a pocket knife. Logan was complaining so I gave him a powerful gun the Desert Eagle

Just in case. The apocalypse was spreading fast and there was nothing we could think of to stop it. But then Thad said that they will save the world because they went to the future. But I saw several zombies there but didn’t ruin Thad’s moment. 

But Logan realized that there was a strange young man who lived in a nice small house close by who loved books and spells. Logan didn’t believe in spells of course but Thad and I did.

Knock! Knock! “Who is it?” said the young man. 

“No time for questions,” I said. We sat on the couch and explained everything. Then he was showing us books about spells and potions.

I asked if he would join us and he said yes. He said to call him Stanly. Then he shows us the basement and there were machine parts all over the place and a familiar structure being built. But they didn’t know what it was. 

Then Stanly explained that he was working on a time machine. Thad and I smiled at each other. They were helping him finish the time machine when we heard scratching at the door. We went upstairs to check it out and looked out the window and saw three zombies scratching at the door.

We all grabbed our weapons and went around the back and spied on the three zombies, Stanly said he made a new invention called the Cheese Weenies. He said it is a bomb that explodes hot cheese all over the place. He threw it and it blew up. Then the cheese made the three zombies melt to the ground, all that was left was some bones and blue ooze with cheese mixed in it. Then out of nowhere, we heard a growl then turned around and nothing was there.
