The Lake House

Every year all of my family and everyone from my mom’s side go to a lake house in Florida on Kingsley Lake. We have done it for about 18 years which was before I was born. Kingsley Lake is a great family-friendly lake because they are not many wild animals were you swim, But when you are on a boat everything gets scared away by the noise so don’t worry. Also, it is very big and almost a perfect circle. This past year was very fun because my grandpa bought an inflatable motorboat that I got to drive a lot. One time my dad and I were riding on the boat and my dad’s hand slipped and gassed it and turned it all the way to the left and I almost flew off. It scared us both and I only got in it 1 more time.

Also, my grandpa let me drive the real boat which is a Mastercraft and that was a lot of fun. The one thing that I love so much about the lake is that we always eat food that we cook ourselves and it is always delicious, we also go tubing and skiing. We all have so much fun doing it. The only bad thing about the trip was I cut my foot with a clam and it hurt really bad. I also cut my foot on a clam the year before that but it wasn’t as bad. The lake is a great time when I get to see a lot of my family and have a bunch of fun. This summer we might be renting a nicer lake house which would be really cool. The total people that go are my family, my aunts and their families, my grandpa, and some friends. There are normally about 14 people there at one time, but sometimes there are more! The lake house is something I look forward to for the whole year because it’s such a great time to relax and spend time with my family.
