Crazy Maisy

When I got my puppy, it was the most amazing thing that had happened in my life! I always wanted a puppy and my family was going through tough times in the year so my parents decided to get a Mini English Goldendoodle. Her name is Maisy and turned one on September 14. Even though she is very mean to me I will still love her with all of my heart. 

It was Christmas and my sisters and I were so excited to go downstairs to see the presents. I had a feeling that we were getting something special because my parents were excited. We all went down and unwrapped our presents under the tree. I kept unwrapping everything and I had to wait until my sisters were unwrapping. At the corner of my eye, I saw a present that had all of our names on top of the wrapping paper with a sticker. 

My parents pushed the box toward all of us. “This is for all of you and you guys have to unwrap it together.” my mom exclaimed 

My heart was beating so fast that I could barely breathe. I still didn’t know what it was but I was so excited. My sister got a knife and cut the box to open the cardboard box. As I heard the ripping of the cardboard I was trying to look inside of the box. I looked all around the box and saw that it was an amazon box so I was kind of suspicious of what was inside. I pulled out a bowl and I still didn’t know what it was. My sister thought that it was a camping trip but once we pulled up the picture it was a Mini English Goldendoodle. 

I was jumping up and down with joy because I have been asking for a dog all of my life! The hard part was coming in because we had to choose a name for her. We started to look up names and we liked Harley first. One of my sisters saw the name Maisy and we decided to stick with that name. Even though some dogs don’t need middle names, but we named her middle name Noel because we got her the day after Christmas

Right now Maisy and I do not have the greatest friendship but other than that she is very cute and playful. She barks a lot but we still need to train her a lot. I am really glad that we got a dog like her since we were going through tough times with our family. She makes me very happy!
