Point guard: The point guard position is the person who is the playmaker and brings the ball up the court and passes to the makes the plays.
Shooting guard: The shooting guard is the secondary position, shooting guard helps the point guard bring the ball up the court, sometimes the best shooter.
Small Foward: The third position, while the shooting and the point guard bring the ball up the court they try to find an open spot to hit a 3 pointer or a layup.
Power Foward: Power Foward is the fourth position. Sometimes, Power Foward does the tip-off if the center can’t. Power Foward tries to stay inside the 3point line, such as where the paint is under the basket.
Center: The center does the tip-off so their team can get the ball. The center is like the power forward but just a little bit taller and tends to stay in the paint.
They work as a team by working together trying to get 2 points or 3 points and trying to beat the other team.
