Fear

Introduction

“Colin, come with me, I will find what your fear could truly be. You weep and wallow, your heart feels too hollow. You are filled with hate and doubt, you scream out of rage you just want to shout. Die in the memories of your past, hope that your life would be fast. Soon you will find out the truth behind your daughter Ruth. And soon you will see what your worst fear could really be. “Aaaaaaahhhhhhh”, I screamed in terror.

“Welcome back”,said the voice.

I was driving back from work at 9:36 because I had to work overtime that evening. It was a clear, starry and barely a breeze. Coming into my neighborhood there were police cars and firemen. I quickly got out of the car and walked under the police tape.

“Sir stay behind the yellow line!”. Yelled the officer.

“What’s going o…”. I paused, and my heart stopped at the sight of my house which was nothing but ash and smoke.
