One day Saaketh was playing Minecraft when Cortney came. She said “Can you come outside?” and I said “Yes.” So I put on my shoes and started walking to the park.
When I got there I saw Amare, Atrau, and Adam. We were deciding on a game we could play. Then we decided to play kickball. We decided the teams: Saaketh, Cortney, and Amore against Adam and Atrau.
Then we started playing. Amore rolled the ball, and Adam kicked it so high up that it went over the tree – it was a ground rule double. Meaning that he goes to second base. Then it was Atrau’s turn. He kicked the ball. It went to first, and fortunately he got out.
Finally, it was our team’s turn. First up was Amore; he kicked the ball and went to first base. The next person up was Courtney. She kicked the ball. Adam caught it, and Courtney was out. She was arguing with everyone, So Courtney was disqualified from the game. Up next was me. I kicked the ball, and everyone gasped… it was stuck in the tree.
We couldn’t think of any ideas on how to get the ball unstuck. Suddenly Adam had an idea! His plan was to pick up a lot of big, thick sticks and then connect them with a rubber band so they can reach to the top of the tree. When the sticks reached the top, Atrau accidently pushed me into Adam. Then the sticks jolted upwards and the ball flew in the air and landed on the road. After that, a car hit the ball sending it rolling down the road and landing in someone’s front yard.
We knew that the ball was gone. So, we tallied up the points. It was 0 to 0 because no one made a full run. We said, “Good game,” and went home.
