Sticky Note

Just imagine knowing your best friend since preschool and spending every day with her. It’s like having a sister that you actually get along with. Although we don’t always get along we know we will always be there for each other in the highs and the lows. There’s always that day that’s just been really stressful for you and really hard on you but we both know that we will have each other’s backs. 

Sometimes we feel like when time passes and we get overwhelmed our friends start to fade out of the picture. It feels like that  because when I think about we couldn’t do anything without each other. We love to play field hockey with each other, and we go to school with each other. Even though it doesn’t feel like we’re hanging we will always try to do as much as possible together. For us things get really overwhelming: waking up at 5:30 am, going to school for 7 hours, going to field hockey for 2 hours( If its a game its 4 hours), then going home eating dinner and repeating the next day Sure, that what we signed up for but sometimes we feel like we have no time to hang out. It’s the friendship and the relationship that keeps up together like sticky notes. 

The definition of best friends is the one friend that you trust to tell anything and know they won’t tell anybody. That’s the relationship between us, we tell each other things we weren’t supposed to tell but of course you’re going to tell your best friend. One day we were in the library and we were chatting with the lovely Mrs.Henry. While we were talking with her she pointed out that we are always together and she sees us laugh together and so she told us we are like sticky notes we are together when you need a shoulder to cry on, when you need someone to talk to because your going through a rough time or you just enjoying being together. No matter what we will always be stuck together like a sticky note. There is nothing that can tear us apart, but of course we get in arguments but in the end we are always together. When you think about it we are more like duck tape or super glue you know when you put a sticky note up but it falls down that’s annoying right? We don’t fall apart so a sticky note isn’t strong enough to define our friendship.

The point we know we are never going to grow apart. That’s something a lot of friends say but for us it means that we’ve been through things that most friends cant handle. Sometimes it’s a happy story and other times it’s more about getting through the obstacles and the things that we can overcome with each other. We know that we both will have a special place in our hearts for each other
