The Journey Ahead

The area was almost all black with a little light from behind her. The figure in front of her was just a silhouette of a person, walking in the shadows. She was walking behind the figure until it stopped some ways away. It turned around to face her in the dark and filled the room with sound that made her jump back startled. Right there the figure grew wings that looked like a skeleton’s rotten bones, just in the shadows barely being seen. On the top of the head grew something, long and sharp. Demon horns! She tried to get up and back away, but kept slipping out of fear. The figure ́s eyes glowed red in the darkness, with the signature snake pupils all demons possessed. The figure smiled with the sharp knife-like teeth shining just as bright as its eyes. Everything went black, but she could hear her screams as if they were there in front of her. A voice rattled in her head, drowning out her screams.

    ¨We will see each other soon,́ princess. ́ ̈

Luna jumped out of bed and punch whatever was in front of her. The mirror shattered from the blow of fist and star exploding matter she only used when fully scared out of her mind. She looked around the room and sighed, closing her eyes.

     ¨It was just a dream, Luna, just a stupid, stupid dream.¨She whispered to herself, still not really able to understand what had happened.
